About

Cross-border CEO, operator and author. He spent twenty years building a Mexican government-services company, closed it on his own terms — and turned the lesson into a method, a platform and five books.

The story

He didn't learn this from the stands.

“We've survived worse. We have the culture to get through this temporary moment.” One of the most respected members of Daniel's board said it calmly, at the end of a long meeting. Everyone relaxed, including him.

He was wrong. So was Daniel. A few years later he personally shut down the company he had spent twenty years building — close to 5,000 people, 51 federal agencies as clients, zero tolerance for operational failure.

That sentence — we've survived worse — became the thesis of everything he built next: a name for the silent decay (Strategic Entropy™), a method to question the premises before they kill the company, and AEGISS™, a platform that measures what the balance sheet can't.

What he believes

Four convictions earned the hard way.

01

The border is only the beginning.

Standards, contracts, logistics, financing, compliance and consumer behavior all change. Nearshoring is not a strategy; it is a starting point.

02

Local scars beat local theory.

Most of the million-dollar mistakes in the U.S. market are small, unwritten rules that anyone with the scars could have flagged at a glance.

03

Success is the silent risk.

Companies don't die of disruption. They die of strategic entropy: the decay of founding assumptions, anesthetized by good results.

04

Stay accountable for the machines.

AI does not replace leadership. It tests it. The person who signs the decision owns the decision.
